$40.00 Arm Balancing with Jamie and Sarah
Arm balances can be a great way to learn more about your own body and explore a new element of yoga asana. During this two-hour Intro to Arm Balance Workshop, Jamie and Sarah will guide you through the fundamentals of taking flight based on Fluid Yoga alignment principles. We will take time to learn about what alignment is the most safe and comfortable in your body as well as explore the use of props when balancing. The workshop will start with a gentle flow to warm up the body followed by time to break down individual poses, ending with a meditation and reflection. We will break down poses like Bakasana (crow), Parsva Bakasana (side crow), Eka Pada Koundinyasana (flying split), and Eka Pada Galavasana (flying pigeon), with time to play with inversions at the end of our time.
