Our teacher, Khenpo Lama Migmar has opened up the Chakrasamvara Empowerment for all students, FREE, as an open offering.

The Chakrasamvara Empowerment is a sacred ritual and transmission within Vajrayana Buddhism. In this tradition, empowerment, also known as initiation or empowerment ceremony, is a crucial part of one's spiritual journey. It involves the transmission of blessings, teachings, and symbolic empowerments from a qualified Lama to a disciple/ student.

Chakrasamvara, also known as Heruka, is a complex deity representing enlightened consciousness in the form of a deity with both male and female aspects. The practice of Chakrasamvara is aimed at realizing the indivisible union of wisdom (symbolized by the female aspect) and compassion (symbolized by the male aspect) within oneself, leading to the attainment of enlightenment.

This will be an online only empowerment held by our spiritual teacher Khenpo Lama Migmar. It will involve prayers and meditation.

Khenpo Lama Migmar Tseten

Lama Migmar has been teaching and guiding students since 1989 and has been serving Harvard students, faculty, and staff as a Harvard Buddhist Chaplain since 1997. He founded Sakya Institute for Buddhist Studies in Cambridge, Massachusetts in 1990.

Lama Migmar has authored and published many books covering various subjects from Hinayana, Mahayana, Mahayana and Vajrayana traditions.  He established Mangalam Studio in 2013 to share spiritual arts, teachings, and practices. In 2017, Lama Migmar created the Mangalam Online Course  to provide a rigorous and systematic way to study and practice Dharma anywhere in the world. He is one of the lead faculties at Kripalu in Berkshire, MA. Lama Migmar is also a visiting teacher at 1440, Sivanana Ashram Yoga Retreat Bahamas, and the Art of Living.
