In this hour-and-a-half workshop, you will be guided through yoga exercises to help strengthen, stabilize, and stretch the muscles of the lower body, including the muscles of the hip region, legs, and feet. By following physical and energetic cues, you will be able to release stiffness and tension both physically and mentally. The intention of this workshop is for you to become aware of the more subtle parts of your body so that you can move in a more balanced way. 



This workshop is open to anyone looking to strengthen and stretch their lower body, especially if:


-you have a yoga practice and are looking to add more subtle movements into your routine

-you are new to yoga and are looking for more direction in lower body poses

-you experience tightness or stiff muscles from other activities such as skiing, biking, running, hiking…etc

 This will be limited to twelve participants in order to provide individual attention.

Marissa Paci

Marissa found her way to the mat years ago, falling in love with the calming affect yoga has on her physical body and mind. Yoga and healing the body through physical movement has since become her life's passion. Her classes are welcoming and mindful as well as challenging and contemplative. You will leave her classes feeling strong and balanced in both body and mind. Marissa holds both her 200 and 500 hour teaching certifications with Fluid Yoga School, as well as certifications in SPA and HEALing yoga. Marissa is forever deepening her knowledge and also holds an Ayurvedic Yoga certification with Shiva Shakti Yoga School and enjoys practicing and studying Tibetan Buddhist philosophy and meditation with Lama Migmar Tseten.
