$50.00 Fundamentals of Asana
Join us for a three-part series exploring the building blocks of yoga asana. Whether you’re new to yoga or a current student looking to deepen your awareness and understanding, this series offers space to slow down, ask questions, and explore how poses work in your body.
Every body has a unique structure. Using alignment principles grounded in functional movement, we’ll explore how to adapt common Vinyasa poses to support your individual body and practice. This includes alignment principles in conjunction with props and adaptations as they feel beneficial.
Week One: Principles of Movement
Explore movements of the spine and how they inform your yoga practice.
Week Two: Standing Poses
Build a foundation in Warrior I and II, Reverse Warrior, Triangle, and Side Angle.
Week Three: Bringing It Together
Explore Downward-Facing Dog, Plank, and Cobra and transitions between them
Each week includes breath practice, guided relaxation, time for questions, and individualized feedback on alignment and setup.
