$40.00 The Four Noble Truths

The four noble truths were illuminated by the Buddha after his enlightenment; four foundational teachings that illuminate the path to freedom and awakening. Join us in this series to explore these important teachings in Buddhist philosophy.

We will begin each session with a guided meditation followed by discussion, and explore how to apply these four noble truths to our daily lives for more happiness, fulfillment, and freedom.

Week One: The Truth of Suffering: Understanding the nature of suffering in human experience.

Week Two: The Truth of the Cause of Suffering: Exploring attachment, craving, and ignorance as sources of suffering.

Week Three: The Truth of the End of Suffering: Discovering the possibility of liberation and inner peace.

Week Four: The Truth of the Path: Engaging with the Eightfold Path as a practical guide to living with wisdom, ethics, and mindfulness.

This series is open to all, whether you are new to Buddhist philosophy or seeking to deepen your understanding. Together, we will explore how these teachings can bring clarity, resilience, and transformation to our daily lives.

Investment: $40; all sessions will be available online live or recorded and sent via email following the session. A portion of all proceeds will support the Sakya Institute for Buddhist Studies and the Vajrayogini fund.
