$40.00 Tibetan Meditation Foundations

In this four week meditation series, you will learn the basics of pranayama and an introduction to meditation practices. Each week, our practice will begin with a brief conversation centered around a teaching of Tibetan Buddhism. After our conversation, you will learn a breath and meditation technique that you can practice at home between sessions. The intention of this offering is to build a new or strengthen a current meditation practice while having time to learn more in depth about the philosophy and teachings behind why we meditate in Tibetan Buddhism.

This offering is open to all levels and is particularly recommended for you if:

-you are new to meditation and looking for an introduction on how to begin

-you have a current meditation practice and are looking for a group to share practice with

-you desire more accountability and discipline in developing a regular practice

-you are interested in learning more of the principles of meditation and Tibetan Buddhist philosophy

Meets online or in studio. Sessions will be recorded if you are unable to attend live.

Investment: $40; $30 for members. (Members email us to register with special rate.) Proceeds benefit the Sakya Institute.
