Jodie discovered her love for yoga while living in southern California. She has continued to grow her yoga practice, embodying all the principles on and off the mat for two decades. Moving back to her native state of Maine in 2020, she soon found a Sangha at Samudra. Complimenting the yogi life, she has worked in the wellness and natural product field and has carried that into her daily life. In her vinyasa class, you will feel these elements flow through her well-crafted sequences, organically creating a sense of community, physical wellness, and mindfulness. She encourages anybody and any body to a welcoming and accommodating environment. Jodie’s energy and zest for life are a welcome part of her classes, celebrating each movement and each breath with joy.
When not practicing, Jodie loves to cook and entertain, be active in the outdoors, and spend time with family and friends.
