Marissa found her way to the mat years ago, falling in love with the calming affect yoga has on her physical body and mind. Yoga and healing the body through physical movement has since become her life's passion. Her classes are welcoming and mindful as well as challenging and contemplative. You will leave her classes feeling strong and balanced in both body and mind. Marissa holds both her 200 and 500 hour teaching certifications with Fluid Yoga School, as well as certifications in SPA and HEALing yoga. Marissa is forever deepening her knowledge and also holds an Ayurvedic Yoga certification with Shiva Shakti Yoga School and enjoys practicing and studying Tibetan Buddhist philosophy and meditation with Lama Migmar Tseten.
